Tea Towels!

I've had two of these adorable tea towels forever that our friends gave us for Christmas.  The little pup on them looks just like our baby, Fritz, so I didn't want to use them or dirty 'em up.  I finally found a way to put them to good use and show them off properly.

Here is the before...

And here is the after...

This little tea towel apron turned out so cute, and it was a cinch to make.  The hardest part was sewing up the long ties and flipping them right side out.  I think it took me 45 minutes to do that part.  :P  I had to play around with this because this towel was a little smaller than the pattern I had found online, but I think it turned out perfect.  Of course, I don't really cook at all, and I used to bake all the time, but now not so much.  So really this is just for show and tell.  I plan to pick up some cute tea towels and make some more to have on hand at Wavefest on October 15.  I think they would sell really well.  I'm going to wear this one at Wavefest to promote them.  It's too cute to just sit in the kitchen unused.  I wore it around the house last night, just because I loved it that much.  Don't judge =)

I'm heading off to Ohio tomorrow until Monday afternoon.  I'll be back next week with maybe some new items to show y'all.  Have a fabulous, crafty weekend!
